Results
For the majority of the day we had a pleasant warm breeze. It did kick up a lot of dust of course so I feel sorry for the poor showjump judges who bore the brunt of it all day.
It took a while to get through all the grade 5 show jumps and it meant a bit later in the afternoon than I might have wanted but we managed to get the presentations done just as the wind brought in a few showers.
On the way home on the Murray Valley Highway there were branches littered all over both sides of the road. Luckily we missed that. I don't think I would have wanted to be on the cross country course if branches were breaking off in every direction.
Whether you score well or not the one thing that we should all be grateful for is that we can get outside with our friends, our horses and our fellow competitors. Sometimes we forget just how lucky we all are.
